On Thursday, 22 November 2018, in the morning at around 7:00, in Plungės district municipality, Varkalių village, on Kulių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S80, a Volkswagen Transporter and a DAF XF 95.430 registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Volvo (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
