On Wednesday, 5 December 2018, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Telšių district municipality, on Kęstučio street near No. 21, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 88-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
