On Friday, 7 December 2018, in the evening at 17:15, in Panevėžio district municipality, Daukšynės village, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 31.80), a DAF FT XF95 registered in Poland rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the DAF (14 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was freezing rain, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
