On Sunday, 16 December 2018, in the evening at 19:50, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 61.50), a Skoda Superb ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Skoda (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
