On Monday, 17 December 2018, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Rokai–Girininkai–Purvininkai regional road (kilometre 7.30), a Volvo ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volvo (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
