On Sunday, 28 June 2020, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Rokai–Girininkai–Purvininkai regional road (kilometre 10.11), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra Station Wagon, a BMW X5 and a BMW 525. One person was injured — a 37-year-old passenger of the BMW X5 (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 81-year-old driver of the Opel (56 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
