On Wednesday, 19 December 2018, in the evening at around 17:00, in Vilnius, on Fabijoniškių street near No. 3B, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3 and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Saab (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
