On Monday, 7 January 2019, in the evening at 21:29, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Aristava–Kėdainiai–Cinkiškiai national road (kilometre 27.90), a Ssang Yong Korando rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Ssang Yong (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was freezing rain, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
