On Monday, 14 January 2019, in the morning at 7:45, in Kėdainių district municipality, Katkų village, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 52.60), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Land Cruiser, an Audi 80 Avant and a Rover 420. One person was injured — the 56-year-old driver of the Rover (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 81-year-old driver of the Toyota (40 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. All drivers were sober.
