On Tuesday, 14 December 2021, in the afternoon at 14:25, in Kėdainių district municipality, Aristavos village, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 54), a head-on collision while overtaking occurred. Two people were injured — a 75-year-old passenger of the Irizar (treated as an outpatient) and the 55-year-old driver of the Irizar (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (8 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. All drivers were sober.
