On Monday, 14 January 2019, in the evening at 19:30, in Kaunas, on P. Lukšio street near No. 3, a Mercedes-Benz ML500 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz ML500, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
