On Sunday, 17 February 2019, at night at 0:18, in Jurbarko district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 63), a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
