On Saturday, 2 March 2019, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kretingos district municipality, on Šventosios street, at the junction with Žemaitės al., a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a KIA Motors Sorento, a Citroen and a Toyota Corolla Verso. One person was injured — the 40-year-old driver of the Citroen (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (10 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. All drivers were sober.
