On Saturday, 9 March 2019, in the evening at 17:45, in Kaunas, on Šarkuvos street near No. 26, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Porsche Cayenne and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Porsche (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
