On Wednesday, 15 May 2024, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Šarkuvos street near No. 26, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Neoplan and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Neoplan (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
