On Wednesday, 22 May 2019, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street near No. 67, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Grove GMK 2035 and a Solaris Trollino 12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Grove (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
