On Friday, 7 June 2019, in the afternoon at 13:13, in Marijampolės municipality, on J. Ambrazevičiaus-Brazaičio street near No. 7, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Hyundai Getz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
