On Friday, 7 June 2019, in the morning at 7:34, in Kaunas, on K. Petrausko street, at the junction with P. Višinskio street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Berlingo and a Solaris Urbino 12. Six people were injured — a 60-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient), a 23-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient), a 55-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient), a 77-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient), a 68-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient) and a 20-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Citroen (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
