On Friday, 21 June 2019, in the evening at around 21:00, in Biržų district municipality, on the Biržai–Raubonys national road (kilometre 7.10), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a light quad bike and a Skoda Yeti. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of a light quad bike, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.26‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
