On Sunday, 7 July 2019, in the evening at 22:50, in Ukmergės district municipality, on Maironio street, at the junction with A. Baranausko street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Mercedes-Benz C200. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (2.44‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
