On Monday, 16 September 2019, in the evening at 18:30, in Ukmergės district municipality, on Maironio street, at the junction with A. Baranausko street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xantia and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
