On Thursday, 11 July 2019, in the morning at 5:25, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zapyškis–Šakiai national road (kilometre 8.80), an Audi TT registered in Great Britain ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
