On Wednesday, 14 August 2019, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Utenos street, at the junction with Kalniečių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Rover 414 and an Ovriga. One person was injured — the 15-year-old driver of the Ovriga (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Rover (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
