Drunk Volvo truck driver hits a parked MAN truck on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Monday, 26 August 2019, in the afternoon at 13:45, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 65.90), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH 480 registered in Poland and a MAN TGL 12.180. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Volvo (12 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.31‰ blood alcohol).
