On Sunday, 15 September 2019, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 152.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 and a Volvo FH 42T. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He evaded sobriety testing. At the time of the accident a strong wind was blowing, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
