On Sunday, 22 September 2019, in the evening at 20:53, in Biržų district municipality, on Pirties street near No. 6, a Fiat Stilo hit an obstacle. One person was injured — a 13-year-old passenger of the Fiat (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Fiat, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.66‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
