On Sunday, 22 September 2019, in the evening at 22:11, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžio aplinkkelis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 14), an Opel Vectra registered in Latvia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Opel (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
