On Monday, 30 September 2019, in the afternoon at 16:46, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Gerduvėnų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 291), a Mercedes-Benz GL 350 registered in Russia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of the Mercedes-Benz (37 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
