On Sunday, 20 October 2019, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kauno district municipality, Karmėlavos II village, on Vilniaus street near No. 4, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Touran and a BMW 330 D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed.
