On Thursday, 24 October 2019, in the afternoon at 11:30, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 63.90), a BMW 320 registered in United States ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
