On Tuesday, 5 November 2019, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on K. Griniaus street near No. 9, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and an Opel. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the BMW (9 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
