On Saturday, 9 November 2019, in the evening at around 18:00, in Klaipėda, on Poilsio street near No. 31, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Suzuki Grand Vitara and a Nissan Micra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Suzuki (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
