On Friday, 6 December 2019, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Elektrėnų street, at the junction with Pramonės pr., at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz Actros 1836, a Peugeot and a Schwarzmuller J-Serie. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (15 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
