On Friday, 13 December 2019, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 86.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota, a Skoda Superb, a Mitsubishi Pajero and a Fiat Ducato. One person was injured — the 40-year-old driver of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Toyota (22 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
