On Monday, 16 December 2019, at night at 2:29, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 20.40), a Volkswagen LT 35 registered in Ukraine hit an obstacle. One person was injured — a 36-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
