On Monday, 16 December 2019, in the evening at around 22:00, in Kaunas, on T. Masiulio street, at the junction with Raudonojo Kryžiaus street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Seat Alhambra, a Volkswagen Passat Variant and a Mercedes-Benz GLK 220 CDI 4MATIC. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Seat (23 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
