On Tuesday, 20 August 2024, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Raudonojo Kryžiaus street, at the junction with Marijampolės pl., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf registered in Germany and a Citroen C5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (12 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
