On Friday, 24 January 2020, in the morning at around 9:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Slengių village, on Ežero street, at the junction with Lietaus street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Ford Mondeo and an Opel Astra. One person was injured — the 37-year-old driver of the Opel (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 69-year-old driver of the Ford (46 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
