On Sunday, 26 January 2020, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Liucijanavos street near No. 40, at the junction with Vijūkų street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Toyota. One person was injured — the 52-year-old driver of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
