On Tuesday, 4 February 2020, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Kintų town, on Kuršių street near No. 25, a Renault Master hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 58-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Renault (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
