On Monday, 17 February 2020, in the evening at around 17:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on Maironio street near No. 7, at the junction with Vaižganto street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Opel (31 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
