On Saturday, 7 March 2020, in the morning at 7:10, in Šiaulių district municipality, Vijolių village, on Vilniaus street, at the junction with Gintaro street, a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
