On Saturday, 14 March 2020, in the afternoon at 16:27, in Vilnius, on Avietyno street near No. 18, an Iveco 35S11 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Iveco, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.52‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
