On Tuesday, 7 April 2020, in the evening at 19:05, in Kaunas, on Kalvarijos street near No. 51, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.98‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
