On Thursday, 23 April 2020, in the morning at 7:30, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 73), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Lupo, a vehicle, a Nissan Almera, a Renault Laguna and a Ford Galaxy. One person was injured — the 50-year-old driver of the Nissan (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (26 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations.
