On Monday, 27 April 2020, in the evening at around 22:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, Kužių town, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 12), a Nissan X-Trail hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Nissan (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
