On Monday, 4 May 2020, in the evening at 18:10, in Kaunas, on Žeimenos street near No. 73, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant, an Opel Signum and a Ford Fiesta. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
