On Tuesday, 12 May 2020, in the evening at 22:18, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Babriškės–Varėna–Eišiškės national road (kilometre 41.65), an Audi A6 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.84‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
