On Saturday, 16 May 2020, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Utenos district municipality, Daugailių town, on Bažnyčios street near No. 2, a BMW 330 D registered in France ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.91‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
