On Friday, 22 May 2020, in the evening at 20:10, in Alytaus district municipality, Likiškėlių village, on Punsko street, at the junction with Senojo Plento street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.18‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
